Evaluation System for CO2 Adsorption Performance

This equipment is designed to measure the amount of CO2 adsorbed by passing CO2-containing gas through the adsorbent. It can measure concentrations of gases other than CO2 by utilizing Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.

This equipment simulates the temperature and pressure conditions similar to those in an engine cylinder. It is utilized to analyze the ignition characteristics of synthetic fuels and biofuels, as well as the combustion characteristics of turbulent jet ignition.
Constant Volume Vessel

This equipment measures combustion in a fixed volume field. An observation window is attached, allowing visualization of the flame.
Surface Area & Pore Size Distribution Measuring System.

TriStar II Plus 3030 (Shimadzu), capable of measuring specific surface area/pore distribution.
Gas Chromatograph (TCD)

This equipment is used for inorganic gas analysis and is incorporated into CO2 electrolysis evaluation system.
High-Temperature Tube Furnace

This tube furnace can reach a maximum temperature of 1600 °C and allows for the adjustment of heating conditions, including the use of a nitrogen atmosphere.
High-Speed Camera

Photron Fastcam SA5 capable of capturing monochrome video at high speed (less than a millisecond).
Near Infrared Microscope

The equipment is capable of capturing phenomena within objects smaller than several tens of micrometers at speeds of up to 600 fps.
